To assign a followup, navigate to the list of followups page in IntouchCheck
There are two steps to assigning a followup in Check:
1) Locate and open the followup you wish to assign
2) Update the assignee field on the followup
Locate the followup:
Select the appropriate followup list from the left navigation menu.
If the followup is currently not assigned to any user, you will find the followup within the 'Unassigned' list.
Use the filter menu (
) as needed to isolate followups from a specific date range, checklist, location, checker, or other criteria.
Once you have identified the followup that you wish to assign to a user (or yourself), click on the Followup.
Updating the Assignee on a Followup:
The Followup page appears and is divided into 2 sections.
- Left Panel - Overview Details
- Right Panel - Comments Details
The assignee field is located within the left 'Overview' Panel
To assign the checklist to an individual:
- Click on the + Add button, which will display the following:
- You will be presented with the user selection screen:

You can narrow the list of users by:
- Typing out the name of the individual in the search box to locate matching users.
- Applying a 'Role' filter (
) to view users that match a specific role on the location that the followup is associated with.
Once the user(s) is located, select the user(s) by clicking on them. You will see a checkbox appear next to their name once selected.
Note: If the user is not present, depending on your permissions you may be able to add the new user to the organization, or you may need to contact an admin user in your organization to do this.
Click on the Close button on the user selection screen to finish up the assignment.
Click on Save when you have assigned the followup.
When a followup is assigned, a notification is sent to the assignee.
The priority of a followup will be shown in the notification that is sent to the assignee.
Next Steps:
You may want to add a comment to the followup to provide information to the assignee.
In the Comments interface, click in the New Comment field to add a comment, or on the camera icon to add a photo.
Then click on the Add Comment button to submit the comment.
When a comment or photo is added, a notification is sent to the assignee, as well as any user who previously commented on the followup (but not to the user who is updating the followup).
Comments/photos that have been added to a followup are visible in the Comments view and can be sorted in ascending or descending order based on the date they were added.
