If an approval group has been specified in the General Checklist Settings, there are two notifications that will be sent when a check goes through the approval process.
Ready for Approval
Users in the approval user group will receive an email notification when a check has been submitted if:
- The Receive email notifications when I am assigned a check to approve setting is enabled on their user profile.
- They have access to the location that was checked.
The email will include a link to the submitted check.
Check Approved
After a user approves a check, a second notification will be sent to all the other users who received the first notification, indicating the check has been approved.
This will ensure that another user doesn't attempt to click on the link in the first notification to try to approve the check also.
