IntouchCheck allows users to use multiple devices to complete a check. This ability gives users the flexibility to use a mobile device to take photos and answer simple selection-based questions and return to a desktop device to provide comments or answer longer text-based questions.
Some key points to be aware of when working on multiple devices:
- You must be online and save your in-progress checks before resuming any check on a second device. This will ensure that:
- All changes are pushed to the server and made available on other devices
- Your changes are not be overwritten when resuming the check on a second device
- If you do not save your in-progress check before resuming on a second device, any unsaved changes can be lost. When opening the check on a second device, you will see the most recent data that was saved to the server.
- It is worth mentioning that completing a check using your mobile device's web browser (Safari or Chrome) and then switching to use a home screen tile midway through a check is treated similarly to working across devices. All changes must be saved to the server before switching between modes.
