When a location has been shut down and you will no longer be collecting new results for the location, but you would like to retain the information associated with the location you can mark the location as 'Closed' in the platform. Alternatively, if you no longer need access to past data or if there was no data associated with the location, you can delete the location.
To close a location:
- Navigate to Account Settings -> Hierarchy (Left-hand menu)
- Search for the location you would like to mark as closed, then click on the location result to view location information.
- Scroll to the bottom of the location information panel, then change the 'Location Status' value from 'Open' to 'Closed'
- Click the save button in the panel's upper right corner to update the location.
You will now see that the location's icon indicates the location is closed.
