"A picture is worth a thousand words"... ...that is why we provide a feature that allows checkers to add photos/images to any question on the checklist. Photos that are not question-specific can also be added. To add a photo to a check, click on the camera icon. |
Depending on the size of the screen on your device and the way it is oriented (landscape or portrait) the icon to add photos that are not question-specific will appear under the section summary in the left-side menu or in the section header.
Tip! You can click the in the section header to view the section summary and access a photo after it has been added.
The camera icon for question-specific photos will always appear under the question text.
If the photo upload feature has been enabled for a question, click on the camera icon on the question to add the photo.
When you are using a mobile device, you will have the option to:
- Take a photo with the device's camera
- Select one or more photos from the library on the device
- Browse for/select one or more photos that are stored outside of the photo library
After a photo has been added, click on the:
- Image thumbnail to view the photo or add a comment about the photo - you can also use the annotate feature to draw on the image - for example, you might want to circle something of importance in the image
- Trash bin to delete the photo
Auto Image UploadIf the checker is online while completing the check, the auto image upload feature will be available in the section header. Simply click on the upload icon to enable/disable the feature. |
When the feature is enabled, photos that are added to the check will immediately be sent to our server.
If you add photos to a check and then turn on the auto image upload feature, those photos will be sent to our server as soon as the feature is enabled.
If the auto image upload feature is not enabled at all while a check is being completed, the photos that are added will be sent to our server when the check is submitted.
The auto image upload feature is not available when the checker is working in offline mode.
