Outcomes are labels that are applied to a check, based on the overall score. The labels are displayed to the checker, reviewer/approver, and in the report header on the detail view of the check in IntouchIntelligence.
The default outcomes that will apply to all checklists are:
- 0% to 49% = Fail
- 50% to 100% = Pass
If the default settings do not meet the needs of your organization across all checklists, you can set custom outcomes for specific checklists.
The default check outcomes are ignored if custom outcomes are added to a specific checklist.
To access the outcomes settings on a specific checklist, navigate to IntouchCheck.

Creating a Custom Outcome
To create the outcome set:
Select the Name of the outcome set being created then
- Indicate the title for that score range. E.g. Pass, Fail, Excellent, Poor, etc.
- Select the color that will represent that outcome, by clicking on the colored circle next to the title.
- Set the score range values
- Set the 'Treat As' setting for the score range. This is important when using Key Metric scoring with 'Critical Fail' settings enabled, or when using the conditional approvals setting.
To add more possible outcomes, click on + Add Another, and repeat steps 1-4.
Once the outcome set has been configured to your preference, click on Create.
You can switch between outcome sets by clicking on the 'Selected Outcome Sets' box and selecting a different outcome set.
You can revert back to default, by clicking on the x button located on the right of the Selected Outcome Sets box.
When setting the score ranges on each outcome, be sure that your ranges do not overlap. For example, if one range ends at 50%, the next range cannot start at 50%.
You must also be sure there are no gaps in the score ranges. For example, if one range ends at 50%, you must have a range that starts at 51%.
You will not be able to save your changes if there are gaps or overlaps in score ranges.
Custom outcome labels for an individual checklist can be translated into the checklist translations page.
