To access the checklist settings, navigate to IntouchCheck.
- Click on Manage Checklists in the navigation menu to go to the Checklists page, and then
- Click on the Checklist to open the the checklist you wish to manage settings on.
- From the left menu, click the settings icon (
); you will be directed to the General Settings tab by default.
When making changes to any Checklist settings, you must:
1) Save your changes
2) Publish your checklist
A detailed description of each setting can be found below.
The following features/fields are available when navigating through General Settings:

Restrictions and Group Settings | ||
| Restrict by Locations or Tags: |
Checklists can be configured so that they are available for: Location refers to the question being configured to specific location nodes, with Tag being for specific tags. Additionally, checklists set up with a schedule will only have checks created for the locations with the specified tags, or for the specified locations. |

| Restrict by Group: | This feature allows the checklist to be only made available to checkers in a specific user group, for eg: Admins. Click on the + Add, which will drop down a list of groups. Search for the preferred group in the search bar, and then select to apply the change. | |
| Require a group for approval: |
If completed checks should pass through an approval process before becoming available in the report portal, indicate which user group is responsible for approvals in this field. Optionally, you can specifiy can specify an outcome-based condition so that only checks where the outcome 'treat as' property of is 'Fail' require approvals. Users must have access to the location that was checked in order to see the submitted check in the Approvals list; users can only see checks for the locations to which they have access. When you set up an approval group, you will also have the option to set up a reviewer group. Users in a reviewer group can view and comment on a completed check but cannot approve it. Notifications are sent to the approval user group when a check is ready for approval and after it has been approved. |

| Followup Notification Group: |
All users who A) have access to the location and B) belong to the specified group will receive a notification when a followup is created. If no group is specified, no notifications will be sent. |

Check Settings | ||
| Do not allow users to self-assign checks for this checklist | If you do not want checkers to be able to self-assign a check via 'Check Now' or '+' icon, select the "Do not allow users to self-assign checks for this checklist" setting. This ensures that the checklist will only be available to locations where an admin user or the checklist scheduler has assisned the checklist. | |
| Show the response to the previous check's questions | This feature will show the responses from the most recently submitted check at the same location. This setting does not apply to checks performed offline. | |

Scoring | ||
| Show the score to the checker while performing the check | When this feature is enabled, the checker will be able to see their current score while they are completing the check. When this setting is disabled, Admins will still see the scores when reviewing and approving the check. | |
| Show the completion percentage in the review screen and sidebar: | When this feature is enabled, the completed percentage of the checklist will be displayed to the auditor on the review screen, and to approvers/reviewers. | |

| Auto followup required: |
If you want a followup to be automatically created for all items that do not meet the expected standard, click the Auto follow-up required. If you've specified a user group in the Select group to be notified of followups required setting, users in that group will receive a notification when a followup is automatically created, if they have access to the location in the hierarchy. |

| Show previously failed Simple Check questions: |
The Show previously failed Simple Check questions setting will flag the question(s) on the checklist if the location failed that question on the most recent check. The date and time of the failure are displayed. This applies only to Simple Check questions and the checker/approver/reviewer must have access to IntouchIntelligence in order to see the details. |

| Do not apply background color to completed questions: | This feature when enabled will not allow the background color of a question to change, once the checker has completed it. | |
| Auto-number Questions in Checklist: | This feature when enabled will automatically number the questions in the checklist for reference. | |
| Allow the user to mark all as compliant (OK) |
This setting allows users to mark all unanswered simple and compound check questions as 'OK'. This will not affect any other question type. This setting enables faster checklist submissions where the goal is to quickly report issues without manually providing an answer to each question. |
